We believe in nurturing the potential of every child through engaging and educational programs. Our offerings are designed to inspire creativity, foster curiosity, and promote essential life skills.
At San Lorenzo Preschool, we recognize the critical importance of early childhood education, with research showing that 80% of a child’s brain development occurs by age five. To support this, our Right + Left programs are designed to enhance coordinated thinking and overall development.
Our courses focus on nurturing cognitive, social, and physical skills, providing children with the best opportunities for growth. We aim to complement the existing school curriculum by offering a life skills program that encourages innovative approaches to learning.
Each week, individualized lesson plans are created for every child, tailored specifically for those aged 5 and 6. Our specially designed syllabus incorporates the Primary One Bridging Programme, ensuring that our students are well-prepared to confidently transition into formal schooling—be it in Chinese, Kebangsaan, or International Schools.

Our After School Care Programs provide a safe, nurturing environment for children to unwind and engage in enriching activities after their school day. We understand the importance of balancing academic responsibilities with play and socialization, and our program is designed to meet these needs
One of the most influential pioneers of early childhood education. Her ideas have become known and recognized throughout the world and have significantly influenced mainstream education.
One of the most influential pioneers of early childhood education. Her ideas have become known and recognized throughout the world and have significantly influenced mainstream education.
The great pioneering achievement of Dr. Maria Montessori was to recognize the crucial importance of a child’s first six years of development. It is during this time that a child’s powers of absorption are highest and lifelong attitudes and patterns of learning are firmly formed. It is for the sensitive periods that the Montessori system of education was most uniquely and effectively designed.
Practical Life exercises form the cornerstone of a Montessori environment, encompassing four key components: Care of Self, Care of the Environment (both indoor and outdoor), Social Grace and Courtesy, and Development of Motor Skills.
By engaging in spontaneous and intentional work with these exercises, children cultivate control and coordination of their movements, along with strong work habits, a sense of responsibility, concentration, and independence.
Additionally, these activities enhance children’s awareness of their surroundings and contribute to the development of a positive self-image.
Children learn through their five senses. The main goal of sensorial exercises is to enhance their abilities related to touch, taste, smell, sight, and hearing. By using specially designed Montessori sensorial materials, children can organize, relate, explore, and categorize their sensory experiences.
In addition to increasing their awareness of their surroundings, these sensorial activities lay the groundwork for understanding later concepts in subjects such as Mathematics, Geometry, Geography, Science, Music, and Art.
A multi-sensory approach that integrates phonics, storytelling, language, and experiential learning to enrich reading and writing. Children engage with their senses rather than relying on rote memorization, fostering a deeper understanding of literacy.
Language exploration becomes enjoyable and engaging through the activities in the Pink, Blue, and Green Montessori series. Additionally, grammar concepts are introduced to sharpen children’s awareness of word usage in everyday conversations.
Science subjects cover:
A. Nature Study
This includes the study of living and non-living things. Children will have the opportunity to explore and understand their environment.
B. Botany and Zoology
Children are exposed to the study of plants and animals. They will be taught to classify impressions into clear and simple categories.
C. Geography
In this topic, children will be introduced to the various continents, countries, states, land and water forms, and the solar system. This aims to inculcate a sense of wonderment and appreciation of our world’s physical environment.
D. History
Through creative activities such as modeling, painting and collage, children are taught to understand the distinction between past and present and how past events have led to present situations.
